R&D and Innovation
Our company's technology research and development and innovation are mainly carried out around the two core themes of "environment friendly inks" and "green printing".
The following is a brief introduction to the concepts of various environment friendly inks and green printing, as well as our company's corresponding product solutions.
Soybean ink (SOYBEAN INK, LOW VOC INK)
VOCs in conventional offset printing inks bring serious hidden dangers to the health of production workers, the health of product users, and the natural environment. Soybean ink replaces the mineral oil in the conventional ink formulation with natural and environmentally friendly soybean oil, so that the VOC content in the ink is reduced from the original 35%-55% to 5%-15%, which meets the relative environmental protection requirements.
Boman BMU, BTN, BPS , BGH, BHK series of conventional offset printing inks are environmentally friendly soybean inks. It can meet the needs of various packaging and commercial publishing and printing customers for environmentally friendly inks.
VOC-free ink (NON VOC INK)
Organic volatiles, abbreviated as VOC, are some organic compounds that can react with sunlight and nitrogen oxides in the ozone layer. The VOCs volatilized into ozone, combined with fine dust particles and other substances in the dust, will form a fog, irritate the human lungs, and have a negative impact on the health of animals, plants and various organisms.
Boman series pure vegetable oil ordinary ink does not contain mineral oil, no solvent and VOC volatilization, no pollution, low odor, and is more friendly to the environment.
The whole series of Boman UV products do not contain VOC volatilization and are environmentally friendly energy-curable inks.
LED Curable Ink (LED INK)
UV ink itself is an environmentally friendly ink without VOC volatilization. Compared with the traditional UV mercury lamp curing ink, the LED curing ink generates lower heat release during printing, emits less ozone, and can greatly reduce the consumption of electricity. It is a more energy-saving and environmentally friendly energy-curable ink product.
Boman UV BE, UV BEP, B61 series products are LED curing ink. Suitable for a variety of uses from product packaging to commercial publishing.
Food packaging ink (FOOD PACKAGE INK, LOW MIGRATION INK)
For food packaging inks, European requirements for food packaging comply with European food contact material regulations EC 1935/2004 and Swiss food contact material regulations SR817.023.21, and the United States needs to comply with FDA standards. For food packaging inks, the most important thing is to have low migration, low odor, and no VOC volatilization.
Boman BWE series water-soluble waterless EB curing ink has the characteristics of low migration and low odor. At the same time, it does not produce VOC volatilization during the printing process. It is an alternative to traditional gravure ink and UV ink to achieve low migration in the field of food packaging, an effective solution for zero VOC printing.
LOW HALOGEN INK
Halogens include fluorine, chlorine, bromine, iodine, and astatine in the non-metallic elements of Group VIII in the chemical periodic table, collectively referred to as halogens. Among them, astatine is a radioactive element, which is very rare in nature and is mainly artificially synthesized. Halogens are mainly found in plastics, plastic additives, electronic components, refrigerants, flame retardants and other materials. Specifically, it includes bromine-based substances (PBB, PBDE, TBBP-A, HBCD, etc.) chlorine-based substances (SCCP) and preservatives (PCB, PCN, PCT, etc.). Two elements, chlorine and bromine, are mainly controlled in offset printing inks. In line with halogen control regulations, chlorine ≤ 900ppm, bromine ≤ 900ppm, chlorine + bromine ≤ 1500ppm can be called low halogen ink.
Boman BLH series of low halogen inks meet the standards of chlorine≤900ppm, bromine≤900ppm, chlorine+bromine≤1500ppm, and are environmentally friendly low halogen inks.
